Ready. Set. Go!

THE RECIPE

Easy, Delicious Baked Fish & Chips

With connections to both St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, ‘tis the season for fish and chips—but there’s no denying that the fried version is time-consuming and finicky. We’ve made this classic duo easier by baking both the breaded fish and the accompanying potato wedges. It’s so easy, you can even make it on a weeknight!

THE POLL

Do You Struggle to Prioritize Self-Care?

All of the research says that parents should prioritize self-care, but if you ask us, that’s a complicated ask. Because self-care isn’t just taking a yoga class or going for a long walk solo. It should be on-going prioritization of our health and well-being. Instead, we find we’re just trying to keep up with all of the things we’re told we “should” do. Drink more water, don’t neglect your skin care, read more, get enough exercise…the list never ends. So is this self-care or is it sabotage? Tell us in the poll below: Do you find you’re able to make self-care a priority?

THE QUESTION BOX

Will I Poop During Labour?

It seems like every pregnant person (or their partner) asks this question. And the answer is…probably. The uterus and small bowel are located close together in the body, as well as being made of the same type of muscle, so pushing during a contraction isn’t unlike straining during a bowel movement.

But we want to stress that it’s totally fine and totally normal if this occurs. You probably won’t even notice (or care, frankly) and your birth team will absolutely be used to this type of incident. Try not to give it a second thought, because **** happens. (You knew we were going to say that, didn’t you?)
