THE POLL
What Does Being Canadian Mean to You?
We recognize that Canada Day is a difficult day for many families across the country, and so we continue to reflect and learn. We tend to share this flag every year—it’s called the Canadian Indigenous Flag, and it was designed by the late Kwakwaka’wakw artist Chris Curtis, who wanted to represent a more inclusive Canada. The artwork is captioned “standing together in support of each other.”
