What Tech Should My Kid Have to Go Back to School?

But, if you’re not sure what kind of tech you need, wait until school starts before making a big purchase. After the first week of classes, it may become apparent that a specific piece of tech will really help with the work your child has on the horizon. Some schools also lend out certain things (laptop, tablets) for the year, so it might be that your money is best spent elsewhere while your child has a school-issued loaner.
