Her little one was using a numbered cardboard template to fold in the sleeves and then the body of T-shirt after T-shirt. The internet went wild, accusing the woman of enforcing child labour in her home.

But this got our editor, Katie, thinking…don’t we want to teach our kids to do household chores? Shouldn’t we be encouraging the development of life skills? But how far is too far?
